The main focus for King of the Meadows is nature-inclusive agriculture: we aim to develop a new approach to farming which offers a future to everybody, everywhere. The meadows should be a place where farmers can prosper, locals and visitors can live, work and relax, artists can find inspiration for themselves and others, and scientists can learn. We invite people from all walks of life to participate and collaborate, to think about possible solutions, and most of all to accomplish change. When we look at the meadows, we want to see a profitable and biologically diverse landscape!
At the heart of this effort is our Living Lab, which consists of a number of coalitions to develop new models of revenue, create innovative ways to apply scientific knowledge, and explore the use of local products. See more >
